Welcome to the Bishop's University Chapter!

This year, we're once again participating in the Treat or Eat campaign, a food drive focussed on helping students in the Lennoxville community address local hunger. To maximize impact and reach our monetary goal, we will be organizing teams to canvass the neighborhoods a few days prior to Halloween, equip with door hangers summarizing the Trick or Eat cause and plastic bags to be filled with non-perishable items. All proceeds will be picked up on Halloween and delivered to the local Women’s Centre (see more about Trick or Eat below)

Saturday, October 31st

One night a year households expect their dinner hour to be interrupted in order to distribute free edible items to all who ask. Trick or Eat puts a new spin on Halloween as costumed students canvass university neighbourhoods collecting food for local social service agencies. At the same time, students raise awareness about local hunger and volunteer opportunities that allow their neighbours to get involved in the solution. Two hours and a costume is all that is required to make a huge difference. And it's fun too!

Calling All Dynamic Students Interested in Impacting Their Communities
Meal Exchange is Seeking Chapter Coordinators For Your Campus

As one of two dynamic volunteer Chapter Coordinators, you will lead initiatives to address hunger in your community. At the same time, you will be part of a national network of students working to address hunger in Canada. In addition to providing this valuable service, our chapter coordinators gain excellent experience and skill-building opportunities.
