The Change-Makers Challenge

The Change-Makers Program is more than just an experience. It is a challenge to bring personal experiences and gifts to this important vehicle for social change. As a Change-Maker you are invited to commit to the Change-Makers Challenge. This is by no means a contract, but rather an acknowledgement of your commitment to the organization and the community.

A challenge to be a social innovator. Change-Makers are committed to continually look for ways to add-value to the Meal Exchange Community. Change-Makers seek opportunities to cultivate chapter sustainability, to build partnerships, and to increase community awareness. Change-Makers are never satisfied with the status quo.

A challenge to be a community educator. Change-Makers are committed to increasing public awareness of    hunger issues.  They educate the public, share knowledge and advise student leaders. Change-Makers believe in the value of education in building a community.

A challenge to be a lifelong student. Change-Makers are committed to personal growth. They seek opportunities for personal and professional development. They strive to be educated citizens in areas such a food security, youth engagement and service-learning. Change-Makers endeavour to be the best people they can possibly be.
