Esurio is the only food security and youth leadership retreat that brings together
youth from across Canada to network, develop leadership skills and gain food
security knowledge in an exciting environment.

Meal Exchange's 7th annual leadership retreat will be held on August 6,7 & 8th,
at the University of Toronto and will provide youth from across Canada with the
opportunity to share their innovation and passion. There will be a number of
nationally recognized leaders and experts in food security who will be presenting
at the retreat as well as many opportunities for networking and specific
workshops dedicated to enhancing your leadership development.

This year, Esurio delegates get to be a part of Canada's largest BBQ on the
National BBQ Day (dubbed by the Meal Exchange on August 7th),
where they will not only get to enjoy great food, live music, but mingle with
almost 500 people that make Meal Exchange's programs possible.
On the National BBQ Day Canadians across the country are encouraged to
invite their neighbours over for good food and good conversation about
the issues that concern their community.
